Meet the Principal
Merideth spent six years at a mid-size commercial firm in Dallas before founding her own studio in Austin in 2011, drawn to residential and light-commercial work she could follow from concept through construction.
Over 15+ years and 180+ projects, the studio has grown into a small team doing new homes, additions and renovations, interior architecture and commercial build-outs across Austin. The philosophy is unchanged: considered, sustainable, built to be lived in.
Every project starts with the site and the client's actual daily routines, not a predetermined style. Passive solar orientation, durable material choices, and thoughtful interior architecture are built into every design from the first sketch - not treated as an upgrade added later.
Merideth Cole is a licensed architect in the State of Texas and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). The studio's design and construction-document work follows LEED-informed practices on every project, whether or not formal certification is pursued.
